Meet the cast of Too Many Ghosts!
We are thrilled to introduce the incredible cast of Too Many Ghosts! This delightfully comedy has been brought to life by a talented group of young performers who have embraced every creak, clang, and ghostly giggle with enthusiasm, humor, and imagination. From dramatic spirits and quirky investigators to unexpected visitors and over-the-top hauntings, each role has been filled with personality, creativity, and a true love for storytelling.
We are so proud of the dedication, teamwork, and growth this cast has shown throughout the rehearsal process. They’ve transformed a haunted house into a high-energy, laugh-filled adventure, supporting one another every step of the way and bringing their characters to life in the most entertaining ways.

Charlotte Avey
Charlotte Avey plays the role of Jo Crenshaw. This is her very first play, making this role especially meaningful and exciting for her. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “We’ll make it work!” While much of the experience has been fun, one of the more challenging parts has been getting used to the overall feel of being in a production—but she has embraced it and found joy in the process.
If Charlotte could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, she would include a ghost who seems kind and becomes your friend… only to stab you in the back (theoretically, of course!). If she lived in a haunted house, she would definitely move out. What she loves most about acting is showing off her skills, making new friends, and performing in front of an audience. Through this show, she’s learned that show business is where she belongs—and she’s also developed her improv skills along the way.
Backstage, Charlotte shares lots of laughs with Emerson (Ernie). One of her favorite theatre memories is all the silly moments shared behind the scenes during this production. She is especially proud of accomplishing such a huge milestone—playing the lead in her very first play! Charlotte is inspired by people who have achieved success she can relate to, as well as her mom and dad.
Charlotte would like to say, “Mrs. Chalakee, thank you so much for this expirence. It has been the most amazing thing I've ever done and I am honestly really proud of myself. I was really scared when I found you wanted me to be a lead but I'm so glad I said yes because I will never forget this! So thank you for believing in my talent to be your Jo. And it's ALWAYS been my dream to be in a curtain call and now I get to! And I'm, like, the main event! Anyways, thank you so much!
Annabelle, thank you so much for introducing me to this program! I never would have done this if you hadn't joined years ago. I've known you since I was 3rd grade and you were in 1st. You've been my best friend, my favorite purple-loving girl, and now you get to be my daughter! Never forget how amazing you are.”

Annabelle Howell
Annabelle Howell plays the role of Lily Crenshaw. She has especially loved performing roles like Toto and Gaston, bringing energy and personality to each character she takes on. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “Mom!!!” One of the funniest parts of playing Lily has been pretending to be a ghost with a sheet, fully embracing the playful side of the role.
If Annabelle could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be Mildred popping her eyes out in the garret! If she lived in a haunted house, she would turn it into a public attraction to make some money. What she loves most about acting is tech week—while it’s challenging, it’s when everything comes together and the full magic of the show is revealed. Through this production, she’s learned that it’s not about how many lines you have, but what you do with your character that truly makes them shine.
Backstage, Annabelle shares lots of laughs with Ernie, especially when he makes funny faces during her scenes. One of her favorite theatre memories is finding out that one of her best friends was cast as a lead alongside her. She is especially proud of memorizing an impressive 225 lines for this show, showing incredible dedication and hard work. Annabelle is inspired by Jesus, her mom and dad, Mrs. Charlotte, and Bella Craft, along with many others who have impacted her journey.
Annabelle would like to say, “To all of my theatre friends, thanks so much for being so nice and fun and supportive of me!!!! I love you all so much!!!”

Emerson Todd
Emerson Todd plays the role of Ernie. He has enjoyed performing a variety of fun and unique characters in the past, including a very old narrator with an accent, a gym bro who is also a prince, and now Ernie. If his character had a catchphrase, it would be, “I fixed the water heater.” One of the most challenging parts of being in the show has been the time commitment, but he has risen to the occasion with dedication.
If Emerson could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would involve hiding under a bed and scaring someone in the middle of the night. If he lived in a haunted house, his plan would be simple—move! What he loves most about acting is entertaining people and making them laugh. Through this show, he’s learned that consistent rehearsal makes memorizing lines feel almost effortless.
Backstage, Emerson shares lots of laughs with Oliver. One of his favorite theatre memories is attending a fun summer theatre camp with friends. He is especially proud of being part of a full theatre production, as opposed to just a club or camp experience. Emerson is inspired by Jack Black for his humor and versatility, and the way he works with so many different people across projects.
Emerson would like to say, “If you have a dream, do it and don't let ANYONE discourage you. ANYONE”

Grace Chalakee
Grace plays the role of Sophie. She especially enjoys playing Sophie, making it one of her favorite roles she’s performed so far. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “Uh do I have to do this again.” One of the most challenging (and funniest) parts of playing Sophie has been figuring out how to act like she likes someone as more than just a friend for the play.
If Grace could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, she would have Barney do everything he possibly could to make the guests laugh. If she lived in a haunted house, she would become friends with all the ghosts. What she loves most about acting is getting to meet new people and form new friendships. Through this show, she’s learned that while making new friends is fun, it’s important to make sure they are good friends.
Backstage, Grace says Annabelle makes her laugh the most. Her favorite theatre memories include all the shows she has been a part of. She is especially proud of how many lines she has memorized for this production. Grace is inspired by her mom, Bella Craft, her brother, her dad, and Annabelle Howell, who all support and encourage her.
Grace would like to say, “I want to give a shout to my mom Charlotte Chalakee for making this safe place for all of theses kids and I want to give a shout to my best friend Bella Craft for helping me with my lines and everything else she has done for me I love you guys so much I hope you guys love this show have fun watching it!!!!!!!❤️😁”

Sage Stratton
Sage Stratton plays the role of Barney. She has especially enjoyed performing roles like Barney and Lefou, loving characters that are funny, have lots of lines, and get to steal the show. If Barney had a catchphrase, it would be, “I didn't steal it; I'm just holding it for the next life!” One of the most challenging (and funniest) parts of playing this character has been trying not to accidentally slip into the accents of the other ghosts.
If Sage could add one ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be finally getting to actually haunt someone! If she lived in a haunted house, she would set up a lemonade stand to earn money to move out—preferably all the way to New York. What Sage loves most about being on stage is the people and the spotlight, and throughout this show she's learned just how important improv really is.
Backstage, Sage shares plenty of laughs with Grace, Violet, Oliver, and Cadence. One of her favorite theatre memories comes from It’s a Madhouse! and celebrating with the cast at the party afterward. She is especially proud of memorizing all 68 of her lines, along with her blocking, cues, and the unique voice she created for Barney. Sage is inspired by her favorite author, Shannon Messenger, who encourages her to keep going even when things get tough.
Sage would like to say, “thank you to Ms. Chalakee for being super nice to us even when we decide that we want to forget all of our lines and when we are super chaotic!”

Stella Street
Stella Street plays the role of Mildred Pettiford. She previously performed as Grandmama in It’s a Madhouse, a role she loved because it was her first real play and gave her the chance to use a fun southern grandma accent while bonding with the cast. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “The day comes, whether I’m ready for it or not,” a line that reflects Mildred’s moody yet sometimes nervous personality.
One of the most challenging parts of playing Mildred has been stepping into a more serious, moody character, especially since Stella is used to playing sillier, more quirky roles. If she could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would involve food or drinks floating during a breakfast scene at the B&B, adding both humor and a spooky twist. If she lived in a haunted house, Stella thinks it might finally help her overcome her fear of spiders, since they tend to come with the territory!
What Stella loves most about acting is the opportunity to become different characters and explore a wide range of emotions while shining on stage. Through this show, she’s learned that you can play a character who is completely different from your true personality and still have an incredible amount of fun. Backstage, Stella says the entire cast keeps her laughing with their many inside jokes. One of her favorite theatre memories is stepping on stage for the first time in It’s a Madhouse, an experience she describes as both exciting and exhilarating.
She is especially proud of memorizing all of her lines for this production and taking on a larger role than she has in the past. Stella is inspired by Taylor Swift, admiring her stage presence and incredible talent.
Stella would like to say, “Someone who I wanna stay a special things to is my play director, Mrs. Charlotte! She has inspired and has encouraged me to continue doing plays and has helped me find my passion for theater. So I want to give a special thanks to her!”

Kaydence Shondelmyer
Kaydence Shondelmyer plays the role of Orla. This is her first production, and she is especially excited to bring this character to life, making Orla one of her favorite roles. One of the most challenging parts of playing Orla has been mastering the accent, which has taken focus and dedication.
If Kaydence could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be a scene where Sophie crawls out of the TV. If she lived in a haunted house, her plan would be simple—move! What she loves most about acting is bringing a character to life in the way she imagines them. Through this show, she’s learned that perfect practice leads to a perfect performance.
Backstage, Kaydence enjoys laughing with everyone, especially Sage. One of her favorite theatre memories is the very first script read-through, which she describes as truly enchanting. She is especially proud of earning the role she auditioned for and memorizing over 60 lines for the show. Kaydence is inspired by her family, who have supported her and introduced her to the world of Broadway musicals like Hamilton, Wicked, Grease, and Hairspray.

Elsie Montgomery
Elsie Montgomery plays the role of Cassandra Lockwood. She has enjoyed performing roles such as Judith in Too Many Ghosts and Alice Wendelken in Best Christmas Pageant Ever. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “Watch out for tippy armoires!” One of the most challenging (and entertaining) parts of playing Cassandra has been making sure she fully embraces the character’s dramatic personality.
If Elsie could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, she would come back to haunt the Ghostbusters and get them back! If she lived in a haunted house, she would take advantage of it by walking through the walls. What she loves most about acting is getting to show audiences all the hard work that goes into the production. Through this show, she’s learned that not all ghosts are scary.
Backstage, Elsie shares lots of laughs with Stella (Mildred), especially during their scenes together. One of her favorite theatre memories is acting alongside older high school performers and sharing laughs with them. She is especially proud of memorizing her monologues for this production. Elsie is inspired by her friend Annabelle, who she admires for taking on challenges with confidence and making it look easy.
Elsie would like to say, “Thank you to all my friends for making this play so fun, even when it felt hard. Thank you for supporting me!”

Oliver Freudenthal
Oliver Freudenthal plays the roles of Kyle and Hal. He has enjoyed performing roles such as Kevin from Gravestone Manor, bringing humor and creativity to every character he takes on. If his character had a catchphrase, it would be, “Why don't you ACME about Paranormal Entity Neutralization and Removal Service.” One of the funniest parts of playing his character has been accidentally walking into a wall as Hal—something he’s worked hard to avoid repeating!
If Oliver could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be declaring, “THE BANANA IS HAUNTED!!!” If he lived in a haunted house, he would stare intensely at the wall and act like he could see the ghosts. What he loves most about acting is improv and the freedom to create fun, unexpected moments on stage. Through this show, he’s learned… “Grandma is in the back!”
Backstage, Oliver says “the ladies” make him laugh the most. One of his favorite theatre memories is when, during Gravestone Manor, his chair was swapped out for a tiny one while he was playing Kevin. He is especially proud of not running into the wall as Hal! Oliver says he is inspired by “Me, Myself, & I,” embracing his own unique sense of humor and confidence.
Oliver would like to say, “Special thanks to all my homies! you the real ones g!!!”

Isabel Gudmundsson
Isabel Gudmundsson plays the roles of Alice and Deb. She is especially excited about these characters, sharing that they are already among her favorite roles—even before performing them on stage. If her characters had catchphrases, Alice’s would be, “OMG,” while Deb’s would be, “Oh for crying out loud!” One of the most challenging (and entertaining) parts of playing these roles has been switching between Alice’s sassy, trendy personality and Deb’s frustrated, annoyed attitude.
If Isabel could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be having an actual ghost haunt Deb. If she lived in a haunted house, she would spend her time playing hide and seek with the ghosts. What Isabel loves most about being on stage is the ability to make people laugh and smile through her performances. Through this show, she’s learned the importance of staying focused and listening when the callback is given.
Backstage, Isabel says “chicken chicken chicken” is what makes her laugh the most. One of her favorite theatre memories is reading a cast bio where someone said they were scared of Kylin. She is especially proud of how well she has been able to switch between her two roles in this production. Isabel is inspired by Bella and Lacey, who she looks up to as strong role models and wonderful people she hopes to emulate.
Isabel would like to say, “I would like to thank my mom and dad leading me in the path of acting giving me this chance”

Addy Seefeldt
Addelyn Nicole Seefeldt plays the role of Nikki. This is her first solo role, making it especially exciting and meaningful, and easily one of her favorite roles she has performed so far. If her character had a catchphrase, it would be, “I like McDonald's chicken nuggies.” One of the most challenging parts of playing Nikki has been memorizing all of her lines, but she has risen to the challenge with determination.
If Addelyn could add a ridiculous haunting to the show, it would be Mildred popping out of her painting and shouting, “OOGALY BOOGALY!” If she lived in a haunted house, she would make friends with the ghosts so they wouldn’t try to scare her. What she loves most about acting is getting to perform in front of an audience and seeing all of her hard work pay off. Through this show, she’s discovered that it can be really fun to scream on stage!
Backstage, Addelyn shares lots of laughs with Kaydence. One of her favorite theatre memories is tech week, enjoying the fast pace and excitement that comes with it. She is especially proud of successfully memorizing all of her lines for this production. Addelyn is inspired by her family and friends, who encourage her to push herself and try new things, even when they are difficult.

Ashlin Schachle
Ashlin Schachle plays the role of Charlotte Nesbit. She enjoys the opportunity to step into a completely different character and embrace being someone she isn’t in everyday life. One of the funniest parts of playing her character has been the irony that she is taller than her “big sister” in the show.
If Ashlin lived in a haunted house, she would turn it into a tourist attraction. What she loves most about acting is the chance to transform into different people and explore new personalities on stage. Backstage, she shares lots of laughs with Paisley (Emily). One of the things she is most proud of accomplishing in this show is her ability to really commit to the moments—especially the screaming!
Ms. Charlotte inspirers her because she wouldn’t be an actress without her.

Paisley Crawford
