Acting & Drama Classes
We are thrilled to partner with Jenks Community Education to offer theatre classes this spring! Classes will be held at four Jenks campuses, directly after school:
Mondays: Young Actors Studio at
Jenks Southeast Elementary
Tuesdays: Young Actors Studio at
Jenks West Elementary Upper Campus (Building F)
Wednesdays: Rising Performers at
Jenks West Intermediate
Thursdays: Young Actors Studio at
Jenks West Elementary Lower Campus.
Registration opens December 30th through Jenks Community Education. Spots are limited to 20 students per class, so don’t wait to sign up!
Rising Performers: Acting for 5th & 6th Grade
Rising Performers is designed for 5th and 6th graders who are ready to take their acting journey to the next level! In this dynamic class, students will build on their growing skills and confidence by diving deeper into character development, scene work, and more advanced acting techniques. Through fun exercises and creative challenges, they will explore their creativity on stage, work collaboratively with peers, and develop the tools to bring powerful performances to life. The semester will culminate in a free showcase performance, where students will present their newly refined acting abilities for friends and family, celebrating their progress and passion for the stage!
Young Actors Studio: Acting for 3rd & 4th Grade
In Young Actors Studio, young performers will step into the spotlight and shine as they explore the exciting world of acting! This fun and engaging class introduces 3rd and 4th graders to the fundamentals of performance, from character creation to using their voice and body to bring stories to life. Through interactive games, improvisation, and creative exercises, students will build confidence, stretch their imaginations, and develop teamwork skills. The semester will conclude with a special free showcase performance where students get to show off all the amazing acting techniques they've learned. Whether they're new to the stage or looking to expand their talents, every child will leave this class ready to take on their next big role!
