Meet the Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz!
We are beyond excited to introduce you to the extraordinary cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! These amazing young performers have poured their hearts into every rehearsal, bringing the magic of Oz to life with energy, creativity, and dedication. From flying monkeys to glittering good witches, every role has been approached with enthusiasm and care. We are so proud of the hard work, growth, and passion this cast has shown. We can’t wait for you to follow the yellow brick road and see their incredible work on stage!

Bella Craft
Bella Craft stars as Dorothy in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and says playing this iconic role has been her absolute favorite! Previously, Bella appeared as Astrid and Cindy-Rella in Twice Upon a Time, and has taken on roles in her high school productions such as Margaret in Virgil’s Wedding and Hetty in Tied to the Tracks.
Bella’s favorite part of this production has been the incredible cast and the friendships she’s formed along the way. Theatre has always been a safe and joyful space for her—not just for the spotlight, but for the community that comes with it. She describes herself as loud, energetic, and authentic, and she’s proud to bring those traits to the stage.
If she were heading to Oz herself, Bella would pack her Bible—because, as she says, “that Witch sure needs Jesus!” She’d also love to meet Dorothy in real life, just to ask how she stays such a strong leader even when she’s afraid. If her life were a musical, it would be called Holy Hot Mess: The Musical—a fitting title for someone who brings so much energy and heart to everything she does.
Bella is endlessly grateful to her director, Ms. Chalakee, for creating a theatre family where everyone feels seen, supported, and special.

Kally Carter
Kally Carter stars as Dorothy in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s previously played Sarah in The Audition, the ticket booth keeper in Gladys Aylward, Mackenzie O’Malley in Holy Mother of Bingo, and has appeared in various skits over the years. Of all her roles, she says Dorothy might just be her favorite!
Kally’s favorite part of this production has been working with such an amazing and talented cast. She loves fully stepping into her characters and becoming someone new when she takes the stage. Through this show, she’s learned how to be more purposeful with her body language to better tell the story.
Her dream role is Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and her castmates would describe her as silly, kind, and energetic. If Kally were headed to Oz herself, she’d bring her best friend Mya—because no magical adventure would be complete without her by her side. She’d choose a heart, because even if it brings sadness sometimes, it also brings the joy of love and connection.
If she could meet any Oz character in real life, it would be the Wizard himself—she’d love to ask what it was like to keep up the act for so long. And if her life were a musical, the title would be The Very Silly Life of Kally—fitting for someone who brings fun and energy to every stage she steps on.
Kally loves seeing everyone get along and have fun together—it's the sweetest part of theatre. As this is her final performance of her senior year, she wants to thank her parents for always supporting her theatre journey and give an extra special shoutout to Mya for auditioning with her—"It wouldn’t be as fun without you!"

Annabelle Howell
Annabelle Howell plays the one and only Toto in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s previously portrayed Millie in Twice Upon a Time, Sky Walters in Holy Mother of Bingo, and Prosecutor Red in Once Upon a Crime—but this time, she’s trading in big speeches for barks and tail wags!
Her favorite part of Oz? Getting to run around and bite several people—in character, of course 😂. Annabelle loved playing Sky because of the bold personality she got to explore, but says playing Toto has been a totally new and exciting challenge. Her dream role? Eliza from Hamilton—and yes, she’s memorized most of the songs!
What she loves most about acting is getting to completely transform into someone (or something) new—walking, talking, and yes, barking, like a totally different character. But one thing she’s learned? “You can’t improv as a dog… barking won’t make people remember their lines.” (Fair point.)
Her castmates would describe her as determined, caring, and bright, and if she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring a hat—just to pretend she squashed a witch and claim her prize. She’d pick a heart from the Wizard, because as she says, “Brains don’t make one happy.”
If she could meet anyone from Oz, it would be the Wizard—and she’d only ask for one thing: “Can I have one million gerbils, please?” If her life were a musical, it would be called Jurassic Gerbils (we’d pay to see that). She’s inspired every day by her mom and dad, who always support her in everything she does.
Her favorite backstage memory? “When we were all in the backstage room and Emerson burped as loud as he could. I was stuck in there for three scenes!!”
And a final thank-you goes to her dog, Murphy, for giving her the best acting tips on how to play Toto like a true pro. 🐾

Victoria Roberts
Victoria Roberts plays the role of the Wicked Witch in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! With a wealth of stage experience under her belt, she jokes that she’s played “way too many roles to list,” but some of her favorites include Belle in Beauty and the Beast and Snow White in Twice Upon a Time.
Playing the Wicked Witch has been a new and exciting challenge for Victoria—so far, it’s become her favorite role yet! She’s embraced the opportunity to step into a very different kind of character and says the best part of this experience has been the community and friendships built along the way.
Her dream roles include Anastasia from Anastasia the Musical and Lydia from Beetlejuice. Victoria loves that theatre helps people come out of their shells and gain confidence, especially when it comes to speaking in public. This production has taught her that community matters—and when you’re on stage, you’ve got to let loose and give it your all!
Her castmates would describe her as dramatic, hilarious, and passionate. If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring her digital camera to snap amazing photos of the journey. From the Wizard, she’d ask for a brain—just to become a math whizz! And if she could meet any Oz character in real life, it would be Glinda… with a very important question: Why did you give Dorothy the slippers that belonged to the Wicked Witch’s sister?!
If Victoria’s life were a musical, it would be a whirlwind of sass, laughter, and dramatic flair. One of her favorite backstage memories? Catching the eye of a castmate across the wings and just breaking into dance—because theatre is full of spontaneous joy.

Lacey Waters
Lacey Waters plays the Wicked Witch in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s a seasoned performer who has played Rudy in Million Dollar Baby, Mama in Virgil’s Wedding, a Hatchet in The Game of Gold, a Fairy in The Tempest, Mrs. Bradman in Tied to the Tracks, and Martha Gillette in The Game’s Afoot.
Lacey’s favorite part of working on Oz has been the incredible community—she’s made great friendships and loves being surrounded by such fun and talented people. Her all-time favorite role was Martha in The Game’s Afoot—a dramatic grandma and the killer, which gave her the perfect chance to go big and bold on stage.
Her dream role is Madame Arcati in Blithe Spirit—a zany British medium she once portrayed in a drama class scene (yes, she stood on a table and performed a séance). Lacey loves letting go and fully becoming her characters, feeding off the energy of the audience and embracing every moment under the lights.
She’s learned patience and how to dig deeper into character development during this show. Her castmates would describe her as funny, authentic, and beautiful. If she were headed to Oz, Lacey would bring a magical mirror to help her communicate and stay on track. She’d choose a brain from the Wizard—because wisdom is power!
If she could meet any Oz character, she’d pick Dorothy and ask: If you had the chance to go on another adventure, even if it might be scary—would you take it? If Lacey’s life were a musical, it would be titled Laughing Through the Spiral—a nod to her love of laughter, even in life’s twists and turns.
She finds inspiration in child actress Ariana Greenblatt, who is her age and a shining example of where hard work and talent can take you. One of Lacey’s favorite backstage memories? Practicing wicked witch laughs in the hallway with her friend Tori—cackling back and forth until they couldn’t stop laughing.
She would like to give a huge thank-you to Mrs. Chalakee for making this show such a fun, unforgettable experience!

Avery Calvert
Avery Calvert plays the role of Glinda in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and is thrilled to bring a little sparkle and magic to the stage! Previously, she played the Stepmother and Evil Queen in Twice Upon a Time and has taken on several roles in her school’s theatre productions. Her favorite role so far has been Teetotal Tessie in The Game of Gold.
For Avery, the best part of working on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been making new friends and being part of a cast that feels like family. She loves embodying her characters so completely that the audience believes they’re real—and that’s exactly what she strives for every time she steps on stage.
Throughout this production, Avery has learned how important it is to stay focused and listen carefully. Her castmates would describe her as kind, funny, and caring. If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring a wand—because you never know when a little magic might come in handy!
If Avery could meet any Oz character in real life, she’d pick the Wicked Witch—specifically Elphaba—and ask all about her time at dear old Shiz. If her life were a musical, it would be called T1D Won’t Stop Me, a powerful reminder of her strength and determination. Her biggest inspirations are her family and friends, who she says are her greatest supporters.
One of Avery’s favorite backstage memories is making funny faces with friends from opposite sides of the stage. She’d also like to give a big thank you to Ms. Chalakee for this unforgettable opportunity and for helping create such special memories along the way.

Mya Smith
Mya Smith plays the role of Glinda in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Her impressive list of past roles includes Little Red in Into the Woods, Kirsty in Number the Stars, Rona Lisa Peretti in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and ensemble appearances in Hadestown, Frozen, Big Fish, Shrek, and The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.
Mya’s favorite part of working on Oz has been challenging herself with new acting styles and being part of a welcoming and wildly talented cast. Playing Rona Lisa remains her all-time favorite role so far, but she dreams of someday portraying Anastasia or Éponine—two strong, emotional roles that would let her dive even deeper into her craft.
She says that being on stage is when she feels most like herself. Acting gives her a confidence and joy that nothing else compares to—it’s where she truly feels at home. Through this show, she’s learned that stepping out of your comfort zone and taking risks is always worth it.
Her castmates would describe her as creative, talented, and kind. If she were traveling to Oz, Mya would bring a camera so she could capture every magical moment. She’d ask for a heart from the Wizard, because feeling deeply—even the hard things—makes life that much more meaningful. And of course, if she could meet anyone from Oz, it would be Glinda... to ask if she could borrow one of her fabulous gowns!
If Mya’s life were a musical, it would be filled with music, magic, and friendship. She says she’s inspired not by one person, but by all her friends, family, and teachers—people who push her to grow, shine, and give her all. Her favorite backstage memories include those quiet moments of helping others run lines, and silently freaking out (with joy!) during early off-book rehearsals.
Mya is incredibly grateful for this opportunity and for the amazing cast that has felt more like a family. She especially wants to thank Kally Carter, who encouraged her to audition, has been a role model in every way, and always believed in her.

Inara Vo
Inara Vo plays the Scarecrow in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s no stranger to the stage, having previously portrayed Marabelle Manson in Holy Mother of Bingo, the Big Bad Bear in Twice Upon a Time, Soleil in The Audition, and many more.
Her favorite part of working on Oz has been watching the production fall into place. She shares that this show has come with its challenges, but seeing the hard work of the entire cast and crew pay off has been incredibly rewarding.
When it comes to acting, Inara’s passion lies in the performance itself. While some may act for self-expression, she finds joy in putting on a good show and letting the work shine on stage.
If she were traveling to Oz, Inara says she’d bring a solar-powered taser—a practical choice for protection, but also a clever trick to convince the locals she’s a powerful witch! (We’d follow that witch anywhere.)
If her life were a musical, it would be a bold, one-of-a-kind production, just like her. One thing’s certain: Inara brings her own brand of brilliance to every scene she touches.
She closes with this message:
“Thank you to all those who continue to support me. Your care and belief in me will continue to empower me. I love you all.”

Marshall Jahn
Marshall Jahn plays the Scarecrow in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! He’s taken on a variety of roles including Adrian in The Tempest, Running Water in the Melodrama, and Grumplegrapeskin in Twice Upon a Time. He’s also no stranger to ensemble work, always bringing his energy and humor to the stage.
Marshall’s favorite part of playing Scarecrow has been diving into all the quirky dances and movements that make the character so much fun. He’s especially fond of his past roles as Running Water and Grumplegrapeskin—both of which let him fully embrace big, goofy characters. His dream roles include Beetlejuice (Beetlejuice: The Musical) and Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream).
What Marshall loves most about acting is working with a wide variety of amazing and talented people. Through this production, he’s learned how important it is to manage his workload—a lesson every actor knows well! His castmates would describe him as goofy, supportive, and tall.
If he were off to Oz himself, Marshall would bring a weapon—because let’s face it, the Scarecrow is in constant peril. He’d ask Oz what makes him tick, and if given the chance, he’d wish for a brain (just to help with memorizing all those lines!).
If his life were a musical, it would probably be something offbeat and hilarious, but more importantly, he draws inspiration from his dad—who he says has taught him everything he knows—and comedy legends Jim Carrey and Steve Carell. And his favorite backstage memory? The time he and Grant “liberated” a bunch of paper from Hurst’s printer—true theatre kid mischief!

Julian Ellis
Julian Ellis plays the role of the Tinman in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! He’s previously portrayed Antonio in The Tempest and Matt in Tied to the Tracks, but says this production has been one of the most fun yet—thanks to getting to know such a great group of actors and actresses.
His favorite role so far has been Antonio, but he dreams of one day playing Hades from Hadestown, Aaron Burr from Hamilton, or Mercutio from Romeo and Juliet. Julian loves acting simply because it’s fun—and even better when shared with awesome people. Through this production, he’s learned that patience is key to making any show successful.
Julian’s castmates would describe him as sweet, outgoing, and cool. If he were traveling to Oz, he’d bring a wand—because in a magical land, why not test the powers of one from our world? From the Wizard, he’d take the ruby slippers, because, as he puts it, “I already have the other ones.”
If Julian could meet any Oz character in real life, he’d ask the Wicked Witch of the East what it was like to be crushed by a house (bold question, Julian!).
He’s inspired by his peers, who have been acting longer than he has and continue to push him to grow. His favorite backstage memories are simply running lines with friends—sharing laughs and growing together. Julian wants to thank everyone he’s worked with and add: “Acting is my passion, and acting with these people is the best choice I’ve ever made.”

Cameron Myrick
Cameron Myrick plays the role of the Tinman in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s previously portrayed Sister Josephine and Grandma in past productions, but stepping into the Tinman’s metal shoes has been a meaningful experience—especially because it’s given her the chance to work alongside younger actors and serve as a role model.
Cameron’s favorite role so far has been Sister Josephine, a character she connected deeply with and brought to life with creativity and heart. She says the best part of acting is building a new character from the ground up—it’s a chance to explore imagination, express creativity, and tell stories that resonate.
This production has taught her the importance of grace and patience—especially when guiding newer performers. She believes every actor should have the freedom to explore their own take on a role, even if it’s different from what others might do.
Her castmates would (hopefully!) describe her as funny, kind, and talented. If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring her phone to stay connected to her family back home. Of the four gifts from Oz, she’d choose courage, saying it’s the area where she hopes to grow the most.
If Cameron could meet any Oz character in real life, she’d pick Toto—because dogs are the best, and she’d love to just hang out with him. If her life were a musical, it would be called Wham! Bam! Cam!—a title as bold as her performances.
Cameron is deeply inspired by Jesus, crediting her faith for helping her through life’s toughest moments. One of her favorite backstage memories is sharing laughs with her fellow travelers—who’ve made the journey through Oz truly unforgettable.
She’d like to give a big shoutout to her sister, Cooper Myrick, for being an amazing Assistant Director and handling the chaos with grace and humor. “Thank you, Cooper—for everything!”

Jacob Chalakee
Jacob Chalakee plays the role of the Cowardly Lion in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! He’s no stranger to the spotlight, having taken on roles such as Steve and Sloppy in Twice Upon a Time, Prince Charming in The Snow White Variety Show, the Royal Advisor in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Ellard in Virgil’s Wedding, Sgt. Michael Kelly in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, Frank Baum in The Wizard of Oz, Peter in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Ro Sheffe in 110 Stories, a Cowboy in Game of Gold, Sebastian in The Tempest, and Reed Yackley in Holy Mother of Bingo.
His favorite part of working on Oz has been spending time with the cast, and while he’s had many memorable roles, Simon Bright in The Game’s Afoot holds a special place in his heart. His dream role? John Proctor from The Crucible—a dramatic and powerful character he’d love to tackle.
Jacob loves sharing stories with the audience and says this production has helped him push his limits on characterization.
If he were heading to Oz, he’d pack a weapon—because honestly, the munchkins scare him. He’d choose a brain, so he can thoughtfully answer questions like… whether he wants a brain. If he could meet any Oz character in real life, he’d pick Oz himself, and ask for riches (because go big or go home, right?).
If Jacob’s life were a musical, the title might still be undecided, but it would absolutely involve some sort of shenanigans—which also happens to be his favorite backstage memory. And finally, he’d like to give a broad congratulations to the entire cast for doing such an amazing job.

Makayla Yunt
Makayla Yunt plays the role of the Cowardly Lion in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s previously played Imogene in Tied to the Tracks, Evie in Twice Upon a Time, and Beatrice Bolden in Holy Mother of Bingo—but stepping into this larger-than-life lion has been one of her favorites yet.
Her favorite part of this production has been growing close to the amazing people in both casts, and she’s especially loved the challenge of playing a character totally outside her comfort zone. Her dream roles include Mary Warren in The Crucible and Martha in Arsenic and Old Lace—both rich with dramatic potential.
Makayla adores hearing the audience’s reaction to a good joke and says acting gives her the chance to learn something new with every performance. Through Oz, she’s learned how to elevate her stage presence and expand her character range. Her castmates would describe her as bubbly, talented, and determined—a trio that fits her perfectly.
If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring Cooper—not for practical help, but definitely for entertainment. She’d ask the Wizard for a brain, because, as she puts it, “I wouldn’t be able to appreciate the others without one.” And if she could meet any character in real life, it would be Glinda—just to ask for her beautiful wand.
If her life were a musical, it would probably be filled with laughter, learning, and a touch of sparkle. Makayla finds the most inspiration in her castmates, who push her to grow and be her best on stage and off. Her favorite backstage memory? Being part of the ensemble in The Tempest—where every moment behind the scenes turned into a lasting memory with friends.

Oliver Freudenthal
Oliver Freudenthal plays Oz in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! He’s no stranger to the stage—past roles include King Glorious James in The Adventures of Princess Atlantis, Kevin and Quasi in Gravestone Manor, Jack in Christmas Toy School, and Mr. Dixon in Sandy McCandy and the Christmas Credit Machine.
Oliver’s favorite part of this production has been developing the perfect voice for Oz. His favorite role so far has been Kevin from Gravestone Manor, and while he doesn’t have a dream role just yet, he’s always excited to step into new characters. When asked what he loves most about acting, the answer is simple—the acting, of course!
His castmates would describe him as focused, quiet, and patient. If Oliver were headed to Oz himself, he’d bring water—because it’s the best defense against a certain wicked witch. And since he already has brains, heart, and courage, he’d ask for the ruby slippers just to complete the set.
If he could meet any character from Oz, it would be... Oz! And he’d ask if he misses flying balloons. If his life were a musical, it would be called Oliver’s Life: The Musical. One of his most memorable backstage moments? Spotting a wasp in the bathroom—definitely his least favorite!

Cooper Myrick
Cooper Myrick plays Oz in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and also served as our incredible Assistant Director! She’s previously played roles such as Carrie’s Mom in The Audition, Detective Quinn in Holy Mother of Bingo, Little Red and Blink Wonderman in Twice Upon a Time, and a Spirit in The Tempest. Taking on a leadership role behind the scenes while also stepping into the spotlight has made this production extra meaningful.
Her favorite part of Oz has been getting the chance to try her hand at assistant directing, where she learned firsthand just how challenging and rewarding double casting can be. Onstage, her favorite role so far has been Detective Quinn—a character she brought to life with humor and flair.
Cooper’s dream roles include Heather in Heathers, Elaine in Arsenic and Old Lace, Abigail in The Crucible, and Joanna in Rent—a lineup that shows her range and passion for layered characters. What she loves most about acting is the chance to nurture and develop her characters, bringing them to life with care and intention: “It’s like I’m taking care of them—making sure they really show.”
Her castmates would describe her as loud, outgoing, and talented. If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring her phone or a camera, so she could capture memories of the journey. She’d ask the Wizard for a brain, because without one, you couldn’t truly appreciate the others. And if she could meet anyone from Oz in real life, it would be Glinda the Good, just to ask what the most absurd spell she’s ever cast was!
If Cooper’s life were a musical, it would be boldly titled: COOPER. She’s most inspired by her parents, who have worked tirelessly to give her and her sister Cameron the opportunities they have. “I love my parents, and I hope they know how proud I am of them!”
Her favorite backstage memory? Running dances during The Tempest with Ella Summers and Lacey Waters—it was a blast. And finally, Cooper wants to say a big thank-you to everyone who has helped her grow as an actor and inspired her to be bold and fearless on stage.

Noelle Godair
Noelle Godair plays the Guardian of the Gates in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She’s appeared as a Can-Can Girl in The Game of Gold, Laurie in Little Women, Stage Manager and Mom in The Audition, and the Fairy Godmother in Twice Upon a Time—but her favorite role so far? Definitely that Can-Can Girl!
Noelle has loved meeting all the new faces in this production and hanging out backstage with her fellow castmates. What she enjoys most about acting is the chance to explore new characters and open herself up to different stories and perspectives every time she steps on stage.
She dreams of playing Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, and says her castmates would describe her as an extrovert, funny, and smart. While working on Oz, she’s learned the value of collaborating with people of all different ages. And if she were traveling to Oz, she wouldn’t bring an item—she’d bring Bear Grylls, for survival, of course.
If she had to choose a gift from Oz, she’d ask for courage—because it’s the strength behind every adventure. Noelle would love to meet the Cowardly Lion in real life, just to experience the magic of a talking lion.
She’s inspired by her dad. Her favorite backstage memory? The time a group of nine-year-olds tried to mug the cast with a giant stick and a Nerf gun. Theatre chaos at its finest!

Keaton Tiernan
Keaton Tiernan plays the Guardian of the Gates in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! He’s previously played roles like Mariner, Outlaw, Norm/Bed Person/Diane, and says his favorite role so far has been an Outlaw.
Keaton’s favorite part of working on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz has been making new friends and sharing laughs during rehearsals. He loves acting because it’s all about having fun and making people smile. His dream role? Beetlejuice from Beetlejuice the Musical, of course!
One thing he’s learned during this production is to never lose his script! His castmates would describe him as outgoing, and if he were traveling to Oz, he’d bring a flashlight—just in case it gets dark. If he had to ask Oz for either a brain, heart, courage, or ruby slippers, he’d choose a heart so he could help bring happiness to those around him.
If Keaton could meet any Oz character in real life, it would definitely be the Guardian of the Gates—he’d love to ask him where the red brick road leads! He’s inspired by the upperclassmen at Jenks and proud of the moment he remembered his lines while reading backstage—proof that hard work pays off!

Vivian Roberts
Vivian Roberts plays Aunt Em and a Fighting Tree in the Emerald Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Vivian is a seasoned performer with a long list of past roles including Jane in Twice Upon a Time, Grace Walters in Holy Mother of Bingo, Queen Alani in The Tempest, Princess Cinnamon in Haphazardly Ever After, Violet in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and many more.
Her favorite part of working on Oz has been meeting new people and being part of a supportive and fun cast. Of all her roles, her favorite so far has been Jane—she loved the energy and personality that came with the part. Her dream role is Ariel in The Little Mermaid.
Vivian says the best part about acting is simply that it’s really fun! Her castmates would describe her as kind, funny, and beautiful, and she brings that positive energy with her to every rehearsal. If she were heading to Oz, she’d definitely ask for a pair of ruby slippers—because who doesn't want a cute pair of magical shoes?
If she could meet any Oz character in real life, she’d pick the Tin Man and ask what it was like standing still for so long. If her life were a musical, it would be filled with heart, humor, and probably a few dance breaks—especially flossing, which just so happens to be one of her favorite backstage memories with her castmates.
Vivian is inspired by her mom, who she says is her biggest supporter and always cheering her on.

Elsie Montgomery
Elsie Montgomery plays Aunt Em and a Fighting Tree in the Silver Cast of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She previously performed as Little Denny and Polly Pig in Twice Upon a Time, and also appeared in a showcase at Clark Youth Theater Camp. Her favorite role so far has been Polly Pig—because making people laugh is one of her favorite parts of being on stage!
Elsie has loved reconnecting with friends from past productions and developing new characters together in this show. Her dream role is Angelica Schuyler from Hamilton, and she says one of the most important things she’s learned is that every role matters—everyone is important to the production.
Her castmates would describe her as kind, funny, and brave. If she were traveling to Oz, Elsie would bring her iPad so she could text her mom if she got lost! She’d ask for a pair of ruby slippers from the Wizard—because they’re sparkly, and she loves fun shoes.
If Elsie could meet any Oz character, she’d pick Dorothy and ask what it was like being in the presence of the Wicked Witch! If her life were a musical, it would be called Elsie and Her Crazy Adventures—a perfect fit for her bright and creative personality.
She’s especially inspired by Cameron Myrick “Gam-Gam,” who helped her through her first play and always makes her laugh. One of her favorite memories is the excitement in the green room before the first performance. Elsie would like to give a big thank-you to Ms. Charlotte for creating this theatre and being such a great teacher—and also to her Mom and Dad for their constant support.

Kylin Wilson
Kylin Wilson plays Jinx the Winged Monkey and a Singing Poppy in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! Previously seen as Bob in Twice Upon a Time and a cameraman in Holy Mother of Bingo, Kylin brings flair, fun, and fabulousness to every role—though Bob still holds the title as her all-time favorite.
Kylin’s favorite part of this production has been making new friends and unforgettable memories. She loves the spotlight, and says the best part of acting is, of course, the attention! Her dream roles include Amber in Hairspray, Little Red Riding Hood in Into the Woods, Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, or Regina George in Mean Girls—roles that match Kylin’s bold, bubbly energy.
Their castmates would describe her as weird, bubbly, and energetic, and if Kylin were heading to Oz, she’d definitely bring a phone—to make TikToks along the Yellow Brick Road, obviously. If given a choice of magical gifts from the Wizard, she’d pick the ruby slippers—because she’s Broadway-bound, and nothing gets you there faster than sparkly, wish-granting shoes!
If Kylin could meet any Oz character in real life, she’d choose Dorothy—just to ask if they could borrow her slippers for a quick trip to the Big Apple. If her life were a musical, it would be called: MOM, Where Is My… (Shoes, Trumpet, Phone, iPad, Scissors, and Anything Else I’ve Lost)?
Kylin is inspired by Dove Cameron and Kristin Chenoweth, two powerful performers with careers she admires and hopes to follow. With a heart full of glitter and goals, Kylin is clearly on her way to something magical.

Isabel Gudmundsson
Isabel Gudmundsson plays Poppy the Munchkin and a Singing Poppy in both the Emerald and Silver Casts of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She has previously played Ophelia in Holy Mother of Biongo and her favorite role, Stella the Stagehand in Twice Upon a Time. Isabel’s favorite part of this production has been spending time with her friends and creating memories together.
She loves getting to become different characters and bring them to life. Her dream role is Angelica Schuyler from Hamilton, and if her life were a musical, it would be called Better Together. Isabel says one important thing she’s learned in this show is that “we all do better when we all do our part.”
If she were heading to Oz, she’d bring a blanket—because those forests look chilly! If she had to ask Oz for either a brain, a heart, or courage, she would choose a heart—because it would help her continue to appreciate the people and things she loves.
Isabel is inspired by Lin-Manuel Miranda for his creativity and the joy he brings to others through music and theatre. One of her favorite backstage memories is just having fun with her castmates. She also wants to give a special shoutout to her friend Emma for always believing in her and cheering her on.

Scarlett Vaughan
Scarlett Vaughan plays Zazu, the Queen of the Monkeys, and a Singing Poppy in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! She previously portrayed Alice in Alice in Wonderland and was part of Newsies last summer at the PAC—an experience she loved for the fun, energy, and strong sense of community it brought.
In this production, Scarlett’s favorite part has been the choreography. Her dream role is Kendra from the musical 13, and she loves expressing herself through music and the characters she plays.
Her castmates would describe her as funny, kind, and empathetic. Scarlett has learned so much throughout this show—especially about working together as a team—and she always brings positivity to rehearsals. If she were traveling to Oz, she’d bring water, because hydration is key (even for queens). She’d choose a heart from the Wizard, so she can better connect with and understand others.
If Scarlett could meet any Oz character, she’d pick Glinda—and ask her to teach her magic! Scarlett is inspired by Millie Bobby Brown, who motivates her to set big goals and chase them with confidence. Just like her, Scarlett is well on her way to making magic both on stage and off.

Grace Chalakee
Grace Chalakee plays Clover the Munchkin, Ravena the Flying Monkey, and a Fighting Tree in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz! If she could meet any Oz character in real life, she’d pick Dorothy and ask her what it would be like to be in a play with new people who’ve all performed The Wizard of Oz before.
If Grace’s life were a musical, it would be called Friends: The Musical, and the people who inspire her most are her mom and brother. Her favorite backstage memory? Simply hanging out with all her friends and making memories together.

If she were heading to Oz, she’d bring her headphones—because sometimes you just need to tune out that Lullaby League. Finley’s favorite part of working on Oz has been the welcoming, fun-loving cast and the friendships formed through the process. While he doesn’t have a specific dream role (yet!), he loves how the stage lights create a sense of calm by blocking out the audience, making it easier to focus and perform with confidence.

If Finley were headed to Oz, he’d bring a map—because let’s be honest, the characters get lost a lot. He’d ask the Wizard for a heart, believing that emotion and feeling are what make us truly human. And if he could meet any Oz character, he’d choose the Lion, just to ask how he manages to get around without any courage.
If his life were a musical, it would be called Distraction—and honestly, it sounds like a hit. His favorite backstage memory? Singing a high note on stage and catching his best friend Mitchell making a hilarious caveman face from the wings—it took everything not to laugh!
Finley would like to say a huge thank you for the opportunity to help choreograph this show: “It has been an honor and a joy. Thank you for jump-starting my choreography dream!”
